The property feels a bit neglected with some areas looking dirty and in disrepair, including a whole unused pool that’s cluttered with trash. Hot water was elusive during the entire stay, the breakfast options were basic and repetitive, and the noise levels from other guests made relaxation difficult.

Big hype, little substance
The friendly staff certainly enhance the experience, but the promise of a serene getaway falls short. The room’s basic amenities and noise from neighboring areas detracted from relaxation, and the pool, though clean, only provided fleeting refuge. Great drinks are a highlight, yet the ambiance doesn’t quite live up to expectations.

Had a decent time at Carola Lodge! The pool is nice, and the location is perfect with the dunes nearby. Staff tried their best, but the room was quite old and a bit dusty. Not bad for a short stay!

The view of the magnificent sand dune from my room was absolutely stunning, especially in the mornings. The pool area was nice, spacious, and perfect for cooling down in the hot weather. Staff interactions were warm and friendly. I felt like I made some genuine connections here, particularly with Coco and Chakra, who were always eager to help. I experienced a lack of hot water during my entire visit, which was disappointing. The breakfast left much to be desired, as it felt quite basic and repetitive after a few days. Despite these drawbacks, the atmosphere by the pool could be lively, but at times the loud music from nearby guests disrupted the relaxation I was hoping for.

Friendly staff offered great assistance and the outdoor swimming pool was a delightful retreat. Located conveniently near the oasis for easy exploration.
The room showed signs of age, and there was a slight delay in hot water availability.

The beautiful sand dunes surrounding the lodge create a stunning backdrop for family adventures. The staff provided a warm welcome and were eager to assist, making our stay enjoyable, especially with young kids in tow. We appreciated the good food and the flexibility to leave our bags after checkout.
In my wife’s opinion, an early breakfast service would help families with kids.

Absolutely loved my stay at Carola Lodge! The pool area is spacious and perfect for cooling off in the heat. The restaurant right next to the pool served delicious food, and I really appreciated the room service. Plus, the incredible view of the towering sand dunes was a fantastic bonus each morning!
The breakfast options were pretty basic.
